Our friendly, New Zealand-owned and operated call centre team is ready to assist whenever you need us. We’ll take your details, explain what your policy covers, and arrange the support needed to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.

We offer a range of program options designed to suit different drivers and vehicle types. Our premium program also includes additional benefits such as rental vehicle assistance and accommodation support when you’re away from home.

Many common vehicle issues can be resolved over the phone, and our experienced team can provide troubleshooting assistance to help get you moving again without delay.

Our roadside assistance policies cover the vehicle rather than the driver, meaning anyone driving your covered vehicle can access help, anytime and anywhere.

Roadside Assistance provides nationwide support for common breakdown events.

Roadside Assistance applies to the nominated vehicle and may be used by any licensed driver authorised to operate that vehicle under the policy.

Roadside Assistance is provided by NZRA and its approved service providers throughout New Zealand.

All policies are subject to a 48-hour stand-down period.

NZRA Standard Roadside

Includes 6 callouts per policy year.

Battery Assistance
Attendance to jumpstart the covered vehicle. Replacement batteries may be arranged subject to availability and are at the member’s expense.

Vehicle Unlock Assistance
Attendance by a technician to attempt entry into the covered vehicle.

Flat Tyre Assistance
Assistance to fit the vehicle’s serviceable spare tyre. If no suitable spare is available, towing to the nearest repairer or place of safety may be offered.

Fuel Assistance
Delivery of up to 5 litres of fuel, or towing to the nearest refuelling station or place of safety, at NZRA’s discretion (The delivery service is covered, but the cost of the fuel is payable by the member)

Towing Assistance
If the vehicle experiences a mechanical or electrical breakdown and becomes immobilised, towing assistance will be provided to the nearest repairer or place of safety, whichever is closest.

EV Assistance
Towing of an electric vehicle to the nearest accessible charging station or place of safety, at NZRA’s discretion.

Premium Benefits
If the vehicle breaks down more than 100km from your home address and cannot be mobilised within 24 hours, you may be eligible to claim:

$30 toward taxi or alternative transport
• Up to $120 per day toward a rental vehicle, for a maximum of 3 days
OR
• Up to $120 per night toward accommodation, for a maximum of 3 nights

NZRA Motorhome Roadside

Includes 6 callouts per policy year.
