Battery Assistance
Attendance to jumpstart the covered vehicle. Replacement batteries may be arranged subject to availability and are at the member’s expense.

Vehicle Unlock Assistance
Attendance by a technician to attempt entry into the covered vehicle.

Flat Tyre Assistance
Assistance to fit the vehicle’s serviceable spare tyre. If no suitable spare is available, towing to the nearest repairer or place of safety may be offered, whichever is closest.

Fuel Assistance
Delivery of up to 5 litres of fuel, or towing to the nearest refuelling station or place of safety, at NZRA’s discretion, whichever is closest (Delivery is covered, fuel itself is the drivers expense)

Towing Assistance
If the vehicle experiences a mechanical or electrical breakdown and becomes immobilised, towing assistance will be provided to the nearest repairer or place of safety, whichever is closest.

Trailer Towing
If the covered vehicle breaks down while towing a trailer, boat trailer, or caravan, towing assistance may be provided to the nearest repairer or place of safety, whichever is closest.

EV Assistance
Towing of an electric vehicle to the nearest accessible charging station or place of safety, at NZRA’s discretion, whichever is closest.

If you are unsure where to take your vehicle, NZRA may assist with recommendations for suitable repairers.

Premium Benefits
If the vehicle breaks down more than 100km from your home address and cannot be mobilised within 24 hours, you may be eligible to claim:

$30 toward taxi or alternative transport
• Up to $120 per day toward a rental vehicle, for a maximum of 3 days
OR
• Up to $120 per night toward accommodation, for a maximum of 3 nights

This policy covers a maximum of 6 events per annum; the maximum contribution for towing events is to either the nearest repairer or closest place of safety.
